The Foundation of Character
The ‘Bregenzerwälder Juppe’ is considered to be the oldest and most valuable traditional costume worn in Central Europe. Attending church on Sundays, weddings or processions are opportunities to display and see these richly embroidered costumes. The people here have a unique mentality, which is reflected in more than their clothing. The Bregenzerwälder dialect is also regarded as unique. It emanates a certain charm that can’t be overheard and that no one should miss.
